Estimate projects
Analyze client specifications, technical drawings, and operational bottlenecks.
Evaluate automation needs, focusing on PLC, HMI, SCADA, and industrial control integration.
Knowledge of Electrical Design.
Collaborate with engineering to draft concept designs for custom machine builds.
Calculate accurate costings
Generate comprehensive technical proposals, scopes of work (SOW), and ROI calculators.
Prospect and qualify business.
Deliver technical presentations proving the value of custom automation and fabrication solutions.
Negotiate contract terms, project milestones, and pricing to close deals.
Associates or Bachelor's degree (Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or related equivalent technical field preferred).
Proven track record selling equipment, custom machine builds, or automation systems preferred.
Ability to read blueprints, GD&T, electrical schematics, and P&ID diagrams.
Familiarity with industrial controls (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron, or similar PLCs/HMIs).
Knowledge of manufacturing processes a plus
Willingness to travel (mostly local/region currently)
